Helping you find and live your God-given Purpose

I just wanted to share with someone about the devotional I read this morning. I happen to be one that thinks she must be perfect in all ways, and falls short of herself very often. I also have a hard time pleasing and taking care of everyone around me that zaps all of my energies. Which resulted in a very dark time in my life just recently, in which I had given all of my armor away, as well as, myself to anyone and everyone other than me and god. . I am coming into the light and gaining more perspective daily, and thankful that it is happening. I did love todays lesson about perfection, and a couple of really neat lines were these....Perfection is for Heaven, not Earth....More important than where you have been, or where you are, is Where you are headed, and lastly a line that she prays to God, that I am going to begin daily is this....Please use my broken pieces for Your light to shine through. In closing she talks about telling a friend she wants to get to that place where when she wakes up and her feet hit the floor that Satan says, "oh no, she's awake!" and I want to be able to feel that way about my walk too, someday!
The pic I added is one I took at Zilker Park, here in Austin. I call it, God's glory is shining all around us, even in our darkest hours.
